Service / Business Systems

Built for the counter. Engineered beyond it.

A POS is operations infrastructure, not a cash register app. We build point-of-sale systems that survive connectivity drops and stay in sync with inventory, payments and reporting.

01 / The Problem

Sound familiar?

  1. P1

The internet drops, the counter stops

Cloud-only POS systems freeze mid-shift when connectivity does. Queues form; sales vanish.

  2. P2

    Stock counts never match reality

Sales, transfers and wastage live in different systems, so shrinkage is discovered months late.

  3. P3

    End-of-day is spreadsheet archaeology

Reconciling registers, payments and sales takes hours and still produces numbers nobody fully trusts.

02 / What We Build

Scope you can hold us to.

  • Offline-first POS for retail and restaurant operations
  • Inventory, stock transfers and wastage tracking
  • Payment terminal and wallet integrations
  • Staff roles, shifts and permissions
  • Reporting and multi-branch consolidation in the cloud

03 / In Practice

Where this pays for itself.

A retail chain with unreliable connectivity at branches

Counters keep selling offline; head office sees consolidated stock live

A restaurant juggling table, takeaway and delivery orders

One order flow into kitchen display and billing

A business outgrowing a generic POS's limits

A custom system matching its exact operational rules

04 / How It Runs

A process you can plan around.

One team from discovery to operation. You always know what is built, what is next, and what it costs.

05 / Technical Approach

Technology chosen for the problem.

Local-first data
Counter database with conflict-safe cloud sync
Flutter
Counter and tablet interfaces
Node.js backend
Catalog, sync and reporting services
PostgreSQL
Transactional integrity for money and stock

08 / FAQ

Asked before signing.

Can the POS really work without internet?

Yes. Sales, refunds and shifts run locally during outages and sync to the cloud when the connection returns, with rules that prevent double-counting.

Which hardware do you support?

Standard receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers and common payment terminals. We verify your specific devices during the pilot.

Custom POS or an off-the-shelf product?

Off-the-shelf wins when its workflow matches yours. Custom earns its cost when your operations, pricing rules or integrations don't fit the template.
